International conference in Athens

World Congress Vascular Access (WoCoVA) 2022
With more than 52 nationalities, almost 700 physical participants and around 100 speakers, WoCoVA was PINO’s most international congress this year. From the international conference centre Megaron in Athens, participants attended a three-day scientific conference with ‘state of the art’ knowledge on vascular access for physicians from all over the world. PINO assisted the WoCoVA team in the production and execution of this international event.
More than a year of preparation preceded this extensive congress. During this time PINO accompanied the WoCoVA team twice to the Megaron in Athens to explore the venue and meet the local suppliers. Technics was provided by a Greek supplier and on-site we were supported by Greek students. Together with other partners, PINO also supported the WoCoVA team with the registration, abstract handling, new event website and other facility matters.
During the conference, PINO directed the technical execution of the lectures and manned the information desk for participants and speakers. For three days there was a parallel programme in three halls. In addition, participants could visit several poster meeting points for the latest developments in science. Sponsors had a booth on the exhibition floor.
The entire three-day programme was also recorded, so participants could watch it again afterwards. For anyone who couldn’t physically attend in Athens, there was also the option of buying a ticket to watch the programme afterwards.
