European Aviation Summit

Top executives of the European aviation sector meet at Schiphol

As part of the Dutch EU Presidency, PINO organized the European Aviation Summit on 20 and 21 January 2016. This summit was hosted by the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment (nowadays Infrastructure and Water Management) together with KLM and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Over 250 aviation users, European politicians and officials gathered at our national airport. Where it immediately became clear that ‘aviation matters’. Because aviation connects not only people, but also cultures and economies. Across time zones and borders.

Holland branding

‘The bar was raised again for PINO in all organisational aspects. And we managed to contribute to an important piece of Holland Branding, no-nonsense and with a special sense of hospitality,’ says Tessy Miltenburg of PINO. The programme included substantive panel discussions, inspiring showcases and round table discussions.

And of course an operational visit to KLM and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Followed by a high-level dinner in the KLM Hangar. Against the backdrop of a Boeing 777, the Head of Delegations received a special guest performance by the Royal Concert Hall Orchestra and the National Ballet.

Can we unburden you?
