Global Health Security Agenda 2016

Practice to be ready!

Global Health. A wish from everyone. And we can’t stop talking about it. Certainly not the participants in the high level meeting of the Global Health Securtiy Agenda. For three days, health ministers and their delegations, from more than 40 countries, considered solutions to promote the health of the world’s population. After Washington and Seoul, this year it was Rotterdam’s turn to host the conference. PINO was selected to provide organizational support to the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport.

Challenging issues

The WTC Rotterdam was the bustling heart of substantive discussions on prevention, detection and response. How do we protect the world from outbreaks of threatening infectious diseases? And how do we get global health with high priority on policy agendas? In plenary debates, scenario-based discussions, NGO sessions and a Next Generation programme, these issues were addressed.

Of course, there was also time for discovery, relaxation, networking. With a welcome reception at the Old Town Hall, an exclusive dinner on the cruise ship SS Rotterdam and excursions to the Port of Rotterdam Health Agency and the Erasmus Medical Centre.

May we be your eye for detail?
